Intrepid Global is a specialist Transport & Logistics recruitment company, providing both temporary and permanent workforce solutions across the UK. We are currently seeking an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join a leading distribution company delivering home furniture to customers across the region. This is a customer-facing role, requiring a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a professional attitude. You will be responsible for contacting customers with delivery ETA updates and ensuring a high standard of service throughout each delivery.
Shift Pattern:
- 07:00 – 19:00
- 4 On / 4 Off
- Optional overtime available
- Temp to Perm opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering furniture to customers' homes
- Heavy lifting, including carrying furniture into properties and upstairs where required
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery
- Contacting customers with delivery updates and ETAs
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a delivery team
Requirements:
- Valid 7.5 Tonne Licence
- CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good customer service skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
