Class 2 Refuse Driver / Loader – Croydon Location: Croydon Pay: £22.86 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday Job Type: Temp to Perm Licence: Class 2 (Cat C) We are currently recruiting for Class 2 Refuse Drivers / Loaders to join a busy waste and recycling operation in Croydon. The Role You will be responsible for driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle while also working as part of the crew to collect waste from residential and commercial properties across the local area. Duties will include: Driving a Class 2 RCV safely and responsibly Working alongside loaders to complete waste collections Loading and emptying bins Residential and commercial refuse collections Carrying out vehicle checks before and during shifts Following designated routes and site procedures Maintaining high standards of health and safety Requirements Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence Valid CPC Valid Digital Tachograph Card Previous Class 2 driving experience Refuse/waste experience is preferred Good understanding of health and safety Reliable and physically fit for the loading aspect of the role What's on Offer £22.86 per hour Monday to Friday Temp to perm opportunity Ongoing work with the opportunity to become permanent Regular weekday hours Croydon-based work If you're an experienced Class 2 driver looking for ongoing work with the opportunity to go permanent, apply today.
