Job Description
We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (CE) Tramping Drivers for work based in Colchester.
This role is ideal for drivers looking for regular driving work who are happy to stay away overnight. A £30 daily tramping allowance is provided to help cover essential expenses while staying away.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned deliveries and collections.
- Drive safely and efficiently while adhering to road transport regulations.
- Stay away overnight as part of the tramping role.
- Complete vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is maintained in a safe condition.
- Ensure all delivery paperwork and relevant documentation are completed accurately.
- Maintain a professional attitude when dealing with customers and colleagues.
Pay and Benefits
- £19.00-£21.85 per hour, depending on the shift and assignment.

Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Category CE) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous Class 1 driving experience.
- Willingness to stay away overnight.
