Overview
The world needs more Intrepid people. We are looking for an Infrastructure & Support Engineer to deliver reliable, high-quality technical support to Intrepid’s EMEA teams. This role combines hands-on infrastructure engineering with frontline IT support, ensuring our systems, devices, and networks run smoothly across the region. Based in our Brixton office, you’ll be the primary technical contact for EMEA while contributing to global infrastructure and security initiatives. You’ll support users, manage devices and applications, assist with system and network administration, and work closely with local and distributed teams to maintain secure, resilient services. This role requires office attendance approximately 4 days per week and some travel across the EMEA region will be required to provide hands-on support where needed. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid role, suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, supporting others, and working in a fast-paced global environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on infrastructure engineering and frontline IT support for the EMEA region.
- Support users, manage devices and applications, and assist with system and network administration.
- Collaborate with local and distributed teams to maintain secure, resilient services.
- Serve as primary technical contact for EMEA and contribute to global initiatives.
- Occasional travel across the EMEA region to provide on-site support as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience supporting Windows and macOS environments, including device administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, Exchange Online, and identity/access management.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Experience with device management tools such as Intune, MDM solutions, Autopilot, or imaging technologies.
- Understanding of IT security fundamentals and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to build trust with stakeholders.
Desirable experience
- Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, networking).
- Exposure to server administration, virtualization, cloud platforms, or scripting (PowerShell).
