You are applying to become a valued member of a dedicated team of Loadmasters, working out of the New Holland Dispatch Department loading compound.
Responsibilities:
- Quality inspection of newly built agricultural tractors.
- Driving tractors from the production line and locating them on pads around the plant.
- Driving tractors from the plant into the loading compound.
- Washing, followed by the application of a wax film on some agricultural tractors.
- The movement and loading of palletised wheels and tyres using a forklift truck.
- Driving and loading agricultural tractors onto various types of HGV truck transporters.
- Actively monitoring load security and assisting with loading as required.
- Preparing transport documents using bespoke computer‑based programmes.
Contract: Two‑year fixed‑term. Subject to satisfactory staff appraisals, it may become permanent, and the hourly rate increases to £16 p h (based on current rates).
Work conditions: Ideal for someone physically fit, enjoys outdoor work, ready to learn new skills, and comfortable working as part of a team.
Overtime: Available on weekends – 150% pay for Saturday and double time for Sunday.
Requirements:
- Full driving licence (essential).
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to learn.
Hours: Monday–Thursday 07:00 hrs – 16:00 hrs (8.5 hrs per day). Friday 07:00 hrs – 12:00 hrs. Total 39 hrs per week.
