Van/Trailer Warehouse Support Operative - Kingswinford

For our UK Operations in Kingswinford, we are looking for a team member to support warehouse and assembly operations by efficiently handling materials, orders, and equipment to ensure smooth production flow and effective use of warehouse space.

Key Responsibilities

Order and Production Support

• Deliver orders to Assembly and Mod Mod in line with production priorities and urgency.
• Transfer bulk pallet orders to Bay 2 or directly to Assembly as required.
• Move accessory pallets to Bay 1 (Container Area).

Equipment and Material Handling

• Collect empty trollies and cages from Assembly and operational areas for reuse.
• Distribute trollies and cages neatly and evenly across all warehouse lanes.
• Collect pallets of boxes and inserts to support ongoing warehouse operations.

Stock Control and Returns

• Restock cancelled orders to their correct stock locations accurately.
• Manage RTS cages, including:
  • Collecting RTS cages for warehouse use.
  • Returning empty RTS cages to Assembly.

General Warehouse Duties

• Maintain clear, safe, and organized work areas.
• Follow all health and safety procedures related to manual handling and equipment use.
• Communicate effectively with Assembly, Mod Mod, and warehouse teams to support daily operations.
• Full, clean, and valid UK driving licence.
• In-date Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) licence/certification.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment in accordance with company procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Understanding of warehouse health and safety practices.
