We are looking for a highly organised and professional School Immunisation Administrator to support the immunisation programme across Greater Manchester. The role works closely with immunisation nurses under indirect supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support immunisation nurses during school visits
- Collect and return vaccination equipment to base
- Use NHS England’s immunisation platform MAVIS on a company laptop or tablet
- Maintain accurate records and data entry
- Adhere to manual handling guidelines and infection prevention and control procedures
- Assist with training and on‑boarding of new staff
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience working with children in a school setting or similar background
- Basic IT skills and familiarity with web platforms
- Driving licence with business insurance
- Ability to lift vaccination bags up to 20 kg and meet fitness requirements
- Good communication and organisational skills
REQUIREMENTS
- Enhanced DBS check required before starting work
- Completion of online and face‑to‑face training, starting July 2026
- Availability to begin in July 2026
- Will be employed under Bank / Casual contracts
