We are recruiting Immunisation Administrative School Support to support our Immunisation and Vaccination Team in schools and community settings when delivering the Flu Vaccination programme. The applicants will work alongside our existing team in supporting the delivery of IntraHealth's immunisation and vaccination programmes. The successful candidates will primarily support nurse led immunisation sessions in schools and community settings. Other duties will include handling telephone calls from parents/carers, communicating with schools, team members collecting and transporting vaccines/equipment. Employees are required to follow the safety measures that will be in place as appropriate and will undertake a risk assessment.
Main duties of the job
Our ideal candidates will have experience of working in administration and be able to perform general administration duties related to the role to a high standard. We require enthusiastic committed individuals who will work as part of the team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. Travel to schools within the region is integral to the role, therefore a driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
Job responsibilities
The Immunisation Administrative Support enables the nursing and HCA staff to provide an effective, efficient and caring service to the School Immunisation Service by supporting sessions in primary schools and ensuring the provision of high quality patient service within a safe, efficient working environment. They will undertake all clerical and administration duties applicable to the Immunisation Service and work collaboratively with the Nursing Immunisation Team to meet the needs of the service, following policy and procedures.
