IntraHealth is one of the UK’s leading providers of NHS Primary and Community Care services. We serve a range of patients across our three divisions of Primary Care (general practice), Pharmacy and Clinical Services which includes anticoagulation monitoring, patient medication reviews and childhood immunisation programmes. We also provide management and clinical support to other GP practices and NHS bodies. We are a well‑established organisation having provided NHS services since 1999.

Our team is made up of GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs), Nurses, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Health Care Assistants (HCAs) and local administration teams supported by a centralised back office function; providing finance, HR, administration and data analysis support. We operate NHS services across the North East, North West and Yorkshire.

IntraHealth are looking to recruit a Relief Community Pharmacist for our IntraHealth Ltd Pharmacies in County Durham. Our aim is to provide an excellent standard of Pharmacy services to the local community whilst supporting the pharmacy team with personal and professional development. This role will be supported by our Superintendent Pharmacist and you will be responsible for the supervision of the day-to‑day activities within the Pharmacy. The role will be full time for 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be a proven leader, have experience of Community Pharmacy and be willing to play an important role in the development of patient‑centred services. You will be an enthusiastic, committed individual who will be expected to work as part of the Pharmacy team and Pharmacy Group as a whole with good communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates must be a Pharmacist currently registered with the GPhC. Applications welcome from current Trainee Pharmacists.
