Our Client is looking for a dynamic Business Analyst who is not only able to gather requirements but also demonstrate a deep knowledge of the role with the ability to link the business and technology teams. Travel to various Client sites throughout the UK when necessary.
The following qualities/experience are essential:
- Experienced Business Analyst with significant demonstrable experience shaping and delivering a number of IT projects within a multi-divisional business
- Strong analytical and business analysis skills
- An understanding of assigned business functional domain including business operating model, activities, data, process, and information requirements
- Strong stakeholder management skills and proven experience in dealing with senior business users, determining requirements and priorities as well as resolving issues
- Strong understanding / recognised qualification relating to the disciplines of business analysis, and project management including best practice methodologies e.g. Prince 2 Practitioner, APMP, Scrum Master etc
- Strong interpersonal skills that enable working relationships to be developed at all levels across the business
- Understanding/ recognised qualification of IT Service Management e.g. ITIL
- Exhibits authority and leadership, takes responsibility, is independent and self-starting
- Demonstrates teamwork at the highest level, highly collaborative approach, among the first to volunteer to help others succeed
- Ability to engage and influence peers in I.T. and Business
- Highly customer and delivery focused, meeting and exceeding customer expectations
- Demonstrates the Client Values (Respect, Teamwork, Integrity, Excellence)
Operational Duties:
- Works on defining business requirements and solution development with subject matter experts
- Works with the business and customers to agree business requirements and support the securing of the required investment funding
- Identifies the impact that any functional changes will have on the business and advises on how this should be managed and communicated so that the change is landed successfully
