Activities Manager

King's Education is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Activities Manager to lead the planning and delivery of an engaging programme of activities, events, trips, and excursions that enrich the student experience and help create a vibrant college community.
This is a varied and rewarding role that combines creativity, organisation, and student engagement. Working closely with academic and support teams, you will be responsible for developing a diverse programme of educational, social, sporting, and cultural activities that encourage participation, support student wellbeing, and enhance life outside the classroom.
You will oversee student inductions, coordinate trips and events, liaise with external providers, and ensure activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with safeguarding and health and safety requirements. The role also involves supervising activity staff, managing schedules and rotas, and helping to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where students feel supported and connected.
We are looking for someone with experience of planning and delivering activities, events, or enrichment programmes for young people. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A strong understanding of safeguarding and student welfare is essential, along with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and external partners.
Experience within an educational, residential, boarding, or student-focused environment would be advantageous. Additional skills or qualifications in areas such as first aid, social media, marketing, or communications would also be beneficial.
