At Newcastle University International Study Centre, we help students from across the world take their first step towards a world-class education. We are now looking for a Head of Recruitment Proposition to help shape how our centre is positioned globally and to ensure our offer continues to meet the needs of a fast-changing international market.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Centre Director, lead on how our courses, pricing, scholarships and overall proposition are shaped and communicated, ensuring we are competitive, compelling and aligned with Centre and University strategy.
- Influence cross-functional teams including INTO’s Global Recruitment Unit, marketing, data and market insights, and university colleagues to align goals; advocate for the Centre and Newcastle University; support sales teams in market and strengthen messaging.
- Develop and review our course portfolio using data, competitors and market trends to drive improvements and new course development; influence pricing, entry requirements, scholarships and sponsor relationships; contribute to marketing materials and authentic student content.
- Contribute to global recruitment strategy; act as a key link between the Centre, the University and the Global Recruitment Unit; provide regular performance reporting and market insight; represent the Centre at international and inbound recruitment activity when required.
- Maintain a predominantly centre-based presence with on-site work during peak recruitment periods; some home working is possible; collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
- Build relationships across teams and cultures, coordinate multiple moving parts, and respond with agility as the market evolves.
Qualifications and attributes
- Strategic thinker, highly organized, confident communicating at all levels; ability to build relationships across teams and environments.
- Experience in international education, recruitment, marketing or product development is beneficial; mindset, curiosity and collaborative approach matter equally.
