- Senior People Business Partner
- UK home-based, with regular travel to Manchester and Exeter
- Permanent
We're looking for a Senior People Business Partner to support our Education Centres in Exeter and Manchester. Working closely with both leadership teams, you'll shape people priorities, influence key decisions and help create the conditions for colleagues and the centres to thrive.
This is a role with plenty of variety and scope. You'll contribute to organisational change and workforce planning, lead on complex employee relations matters, and help strengthen talent and leadership capability. You'll also look ahead, using people insight and your understanding of the business to identify challenges and opportunities and help leaders make well-informed decisions.
You'll be part of a wider People team, working closely with colleagues across People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development and our other specialist teams.
This would suit a People Business Partner who is curious about the business, who enjoys getting under the skin of a problem and working alongside leaders to find practical solutions. You'll be comfortable offering constructive challenge when it's needed, but equally happy rolling up your sleeves and helping to navigate a difficult people issue.
You'll bring experience partnering with senior leaders and feel confident across organisational change and employee relations. Experience of consultation, restructuring and working with trade unions or employee representatives will also be important. Most of all, you'll bring good judgement, credibility and a pragmatic approach, building relationships that allow you to influence rather than simply advise.
The role can be based anywhere in the UK, but location does matter. You'll be supporting our Education Centres in Exeter and Manchester and will need to travel to both periodically, so you should be based somewhere that makes getting to both locations reasonably practical.
