INTO Manchester is looking for a Laboratory Technical Officer to support practical science teaching within our International Foundation Year STEM programmes. This is a hands-on role based in our teaching laboratories, supporting staff and students with the preparation, delivery and safe running of practical science activities.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing materials and equipment for laboratory sessions
- Maintaining a safe and well-organised laboratory environment
- Supporting teaching staff during practical classes
- Routine equipment maintenance
- Stock control
- Health and safety responsibilities, including COSHH compliance
This role is ideal for someone with laboratory experience who enjoys working in an educational environment and supporting student learning. You will work closely with academic and technical colleagues to ensure laboratories are ready, safe and fully equipped for teaching.
