Project description: Integration of security patches and new features from Google and/or Qualcomm.
What you will be doing:
- Integrate vulnerability fixes published in the monthly Android security bulletin (“ASB”), Qualcomm security bulletins (“QSB”), and Qualcomm releases (“AMSS upgrades”), and submit to quality assurance team (“QA”) for testing.
- Debug and isolate patches causing regressions reported by QA on the security, master, and release branches.
- Track integration time per each ASB for two products and target integration complete within ten calendar days of ASB preview published date.
- Project tools written in python may require some enhancements in the future.
You’re a good match if you have:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience with Android security at various system levels.
- Solid understanding of Android platform stack and Android security concepts.
- Experience in C/C++ development for embedded systems.
- Debugging skills with embedded tools and scripting language (Python).
- Hands-on experience and understanding of Linux kernel, Android architecture.
