Scope and Purpose
- Undertake banker role for FI clients with the ability to have strategy discussions with senior stakeholders.
- Drive selected client relationships with stakeholders on the client side for a designated portfolio.
- Liaise laterally and vertically with stakeholders, peers, and juniors to foster client dialogue, owning the relationship with the client.
- Identify and pursue cross-buy opportunities.
- Support transaction execution where appropriate.
- Assist in preparing commercial and credit committee applications.
- Organize and coordinate internal deal teams to facilitate origination.
Required Experience
10+ years of experience in the banking industry with markets and/or relationship exposure.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge
- Bachelor\’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent qualifications.
- Proven extensive network of FI client relationships and established business origination skills in a financial services institution.
- Knowledge of Financial Markets products.
- Background in Credit products.
- Understanding of the regulatory framework, requirements, and expectations.
- Strong skills in building relationships with clients and client origination.
- Experience managing relationships with Financial Institutions, NBFIs, and HNWIs.
