The Equity Capital Markets team, London branch, is responsible for origination and execution of equity and equity-linked transactions across several jurisdictions. The team works closely with coverage and IB teams to serve corporates, financial sponsors, private banking clients, and governments. You will join an ambitious and dynamic team part of a growing franchise.
What you’ll be doing
- Involvement in the ECM coverage effort for clients across industries and countries.
- Collaborate closely with other corporate finance & capital markets teams within the Bank (IB coverage & industry teams, DCM, M&A, Structured Finance).
- Follow market environment, analyse profiles of potential ECM issuers and identify opportunities and capital needs.
- Prepare marketing materials and other transaction documentation.
- Gain client exposure and take part in meetings with corporates and investors.
- Participate in the execution of ECM transactions.
- Opportunity to mentor and train junior people.
Who we are looking for
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Previous finance related experience: Equity Capital Markets, Equity-Linked, Equity derivatives.
- Excellent academic credentials, i.e. master's degree (e.g. Financial, Business or Economic fields ideally).
- Strong interest in equities, capital markets and corporate finance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of global financial markets.
- Excellent command of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- English language to minimum C1 level (CEFR scale).
- Other language skills an advantage, Italian is useful.
