Your role
As the Growth Marketing Director at Digital Realty, you will drive EMEA marketing performance to new levels to align with our ambitious regional and global goals. In this pivotal role you will execute an integrated strategic marketing plan that is tailored for EMEA and aligned with our global strategy. Your mission will be on enabling direct and indirect demand, nurturing opportunity pipeline and contributing to the growth of our install base across EMEA while closely aligning, collaborating and supporting the subregional and global marketing teams.
For this you will bring comprehensive experience of delivering integrated marketing programs, designing targeted campaigns, including ABM, and leveraging digital marketing for all levels of the demand generation funnel.
To succeed in this role, you will harness a performance and ROI focused data-driven mindset, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of marketing technologies and tactics, along with an ability to prepare marketing reporting designed for executive level review. Collaboration is key in this role, and you will work closely with the global, regional and subregional marketing teams, sales and channels teams, to ensure programs and activities delivered are executed strategically and with efficiency to deliver full impact to drive leads and opportunities into the business.
What you'll do
- Lead on the execution, and coordination of growth marketing campaigns in EMEA to generate demand and opportunity pipeline, including ABM, eDM and nurture campaigns, and events etc., to drive customer acquisition, customer growth and revenue growth across EMEA.
- Own the data and reporting, analyze marketing data and metrics to optimize campaign performance, ROI, and customer engagement. Provide regular reporting and insights to a range of stakeholders on marketing performance and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define target customer segments, value propositions, and key messaging adaptation for EMEA.
- Lead a team and establish best practices that support the targeting of the full range of prospects.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track performance against KPIs and targets.
What you’ll need
- Minimum 10 years Marketing experience in a B2B environment, high-tech products/services required, and preferably knowledge of the data center market.
- Experience in Marketing leadership roles within an international business and within a matrix reporting structure, preferably IT, data center services or telecommunications company.
- Experience using data to determine performance and ROI on marketing campaigns and investment providing insight on integrated strategy for both direct and indirect channels.
- Demonstrated experience in working with sales and marketing leaders in driving pipeline and revenue.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, PowerBI etc.)
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels and tactics, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and content marketing and experience with leading Account Based Marketing strategies.
- Advanced level proficiency in the use of MS Productivity tools, and Marketing automation tools, such as Marketo, Demandbase, CRM platforms such as SalesForce and social media technologies.
- Ability to work in a start-up like environment with high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
