INTERWIRE.NEWS is seeking a Commission-Based Grants & Investment Lead (Media Funding, Philanthropy, EU Grants) to expand our funding pipeline and convert opportunities into secured capital. We deliver global news coverage and a full suite of newsgathering and production services for media organisations globally, grounded in objectivity, accuracy, and accountability - sources are cited, and opinions are left to the audience.
You will source and qualify opportunities across EU media and innovation grants, other relevant grant programmes, philanthropic funders (foundations, donor networks, high-net-worth givers), and media/impact investors (angels, family offices, strategic investors). The role is end-to-end: targeted research, outreach and relationship-building, coordinating funder-ready materials (concept notes, proposals, budgets with internal input), managing submissions and follow-ups, and supporting diligence/closing through award or investment completion.
This is a commission-only, independent contractor engagement with success-based compensation paid on outcomes: typically 10% of grant/philanthropic funds received. The ideal candidate has a demonstrable track record in sourcing and securing grants and/or investment, strong written and verbal communication, and familiarity with EU funding landscapes and mission-aligned media/philanthropy networks.
