The role of Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful and effective delivery of external and internal projects, with particular focus on delivery within timescales, budgets and quality requirements. Taking functional requirements specifications through the development process to end user testing, installation, data conversion and operational running while setting and maintain realistic client expectations.
The role is also expected to run one or more workstreams for a given Project Lead and/or Senior Project Manager.
You will operate as part of a PMO team, working in a hybrid model using either our London or Chelmsford offices on a regular basis. You will also need to visit client sites on a regular basis, as well as engaging with them through the use of Microsoft Teams.
Project experience is essential, providing key support, or management of, a number of successful projects and be able to demonstrate an understanding of project lifecycle and governance in a complex software/cloud environment.
- Must have experience within the Insurance or Re-Insurance industry
- Must have experience with SaaS products
- Manage end-to-end projects or workstreams, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines and budgets
- Develop project plans, track progress, and provide regular reporting
- Work closely with clients to manage expectations and maintain strong relationships
- Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Delivery teams
- Support governance processes and ensure project deliverables meet quality standards

- Experience working within insurance, financial services, or regulated industries
- Exposure to recognised project governance frameworks such as PRINCE2 or ITIL
