UK (flexible/hybrid working). We're working with a well-established engineering and power solutions business supporting critical infrastructure and the energy transition across the UK. They're now looking for a Sales Manager to drive growth across infrastructure, healthcare, and renewable energy markets, focusing on high value electrical equipment and turnkey solutions.

The Role

This is a strategic, front end sales position focused on developing long term partnerships and securing complex projects across regulated and mission critical environments. You'll be responsible for winning and delivering opportunities involving:

  • Power transformers
  • Medium & high voltage switchgear

The role is less about volume sales and more about solution led engagement across technically complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a structured sales strategy across various channels.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of strategic opportunities.
  • Convert technical client requirements into commercially viable proposals.
  • Secure new business and deliver against revenue and margin targets.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and maintain strong CRM discipline.
  • Track competitor activity and positioning across key sectors.

What They're Looking For

  • Proven experience in technical sales within power, energy or infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of: Transformers and/or MV/HV switchgear.
  • Complex project environments.
  • Ability to engage at both technical and commercial levels.
  • Experience shaping opportunities from early-stage through to close.
  • Strong client management and account development capability.
  • Confident handling RFQs, pricing, and contract negotiations.
