I’m currently supporting a growing engineering and infrastructure business in the energy sector looking to appoint a Senior SHE Manager to oversee Safety, Health & Environmental performance across multiple operational sites in the South of England. This is a senior leadership role with real influence across construction, engineering, and operational environments, working closely with directors and site leadership teams to drive a consistent SHE culture across the business.
Key areas of focus include:
- Leading SHE strategy across multiple sites and projects
- Embedding consistent standards, governance, and compliance frameworks
- Driving continuous improvement across safety performance and operational risk
- Supporting audits, investigations, reporting, and corrective actions
- Influencing operational and senior stakeholders across the business
- Supporting wider sustainability and ESG initiatives
What they’re looking for:
- Strong SHE leadership experience within construction, infrastructure, utilities, engineering or industrial environments
- Multi-site operational experience
- NEBOSH qualified with strong knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
- Experience leading audits, investigations, and behavioural safety initiatives
- Confident communicator able to influence both site teams and senior leadership
- CMIOSH or working towards preferred
