Are you the linchpin that keeps large scale solar operations running on time, on budget, and at peak efficiency? We’re partnering with a forward thinking renewable energy business to find an experienced Senior Project Scheduler (or Planner, if that’s what you call yourself) with a proven track record in utility scale solar farm projects. This isn’t just about plugging tasks into a system and hoping the engineers turn up, it’s about owning the schedule, driving performance, and delivering on high value contracts with strategic foresight.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building and managing robust schedules for engineers and field teams, ensuring all works are delivered on time and within budget.
- Liaising daily with project managers, operational teams, subcontractors, and clients to keep everyone aligned and informed.
- Monitoring, reporting, and optimising project delivery, spotting issues before they happen, improving workflows, and keeping the whole operation running smoothly.
- Working closely with commercial teams to understand contract deliverables and make sure your planning drives the best value and service levels possible.
- Constantly challenging the status quo, refining internal processes, and acting as a key operational advisor across the business.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience in scheduling/planning utility-scale solar farms or similar large-scale energy infrastructure projects.
- A natural problem solver with an eye for process improvement and performance optimisation.
