We’re supporting a growing EV infrastructure business who are looking to appoint a Service Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance function across a national portfolio of EV charging infrastructure. This role will focus on the ongoing performance, maintenance, and operational management of both AC and DC charge point infrastructure, ensuring high uptime, strong customer service, and effective coordination of field operations. The business operates across installation, maintenance, and infrastructure delivery within the EV charging sector, supporting a wide range of public and private charging environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day O&M operations across EV charging infrastructure projects
  • Oversee reactive maintenance, fault response, and planned preventative maintenance activities
  • Coordinate field service engineers, subcontractors, and support teams across live networks
  • Monitor charger uptime, SLA performance, and operational KPIs
  • Support fault escalation, diagnostics, and issue resolution across AC and DC charging equipment
  • Ensure strong communication with clients, site operators, and internal stakeholders
  • Drive service quality, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support reporting, compliance, health & safety, and maintenance planning activities
  • Assist with resource planning, scheduling, and service delivery management

What They’re Looking For:

  • Experience within EV charging, electrical infrastructure, or field service operations
  • Strong understanding of AC and DC charging infrastructure and maintenance environments
  • Experience managing service teams, field engineers, or operational delivery functions
  • Knowledge of reactive maintenance, PPMs, and SLA-driven environments
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and prioritise operational workloads effectively
  • Understanding of charger diagnostics, fault-finding processes, and service coordination would be highly beneficial
  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
