The Opportunity
We’re partnered with a leading European manufacturer in the electrification space that is scaling its commercial presence across the UK. This is a high-impact Business Development role focused on identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth across a rapidly evolving sector. You will take ownership of the full commercial lifecycle, from outbound prospecting and qualification through to structuring and closing strategic agreements, helping to shape the company’s long-term growth in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of new commercial opportunities across the UK
- Identify high-impact segments and routes to market
- Develop relationships with key players across the ecosystem, including installers, wholesalers, utilities, fleet operators, and automotive partners
- Lead negotiations and structure commercial agreements
- Convert opportunities into long-term partnerships
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to refine value propositions and routes to market
- Identify new commercial opportunities
- Stay close to market developments, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Provide insights to support commercial strategy
- Represent the business at industry events and key commercial engagements across the UK

What We’re Looking For
- Experience in business development or sales within EV Charging, or energy-related environment
- Strong track record in building partnerships and closing deals
- Experience within EV charging, energy, automotive, or a related sector is highly preferred
- Ability to operate autonomously and build new opportunities from scratch
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling environment
- Experience using CRM systems
