This role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of large-scale EV charging infrastructure programmes. You will lead projects from early-stage site selection and costing through to design, installation, grid connection, and commissioning.
This is a hands-on delivery role in a fast-scaling environment, offering strong progression opportunities within the EV and energy transition sector.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end delivery of EV infrastructure projects to agreed cost, programme, and quality targets
- Manage the full design and build lifecycle, from feasibility and planning through to installation and commissioning
- Oversee Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ), including CDM compliance
- Work closely with delivery partners (installers, ICPs, contractors) to ensure safe and efficient execution
- Drive site surveys, design approvals, and cost estimates in line with engineering standards
- Manage risks across programmes and ensure appropriate mitigation plans are in place
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivery partners, and internal teams
- Provide accurate reporting on programme performance, risks, and delivery status
- Ensure projects are delivered in a commercially sustainable and cost-effective manner
- 3+ years’ experience delivering infrastructure projects (ideally EV, utilities, or energy)
- Strong project/programme management background (APMP or equivalent desirable)
- Proven ability to deliver projects to time, cost, and quality targets
- Experience managing contractors, supply chain, and external stakeholders
- Solid understanding of HSEQ and CDM requirements
- Commercially aware, with experience managing contracts and budgets
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a hands-on approach to delivery
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive projects forward
- Collaborative, with the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders
- Able to manage ambiguity and solve complex delivery challenges
