Construction Manager

Intervl are partnered with a one of the UK's fastest growing EV infrastructure rollouts and they are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to take ownership of the construction of their projects. You'll define how construction is delivered across the business, establish contractor partnerships, drive commercial performance, and build a scalable delivery model capable of supporting hundreds of sites . What you'll be doi ng• Own construction delivery across a growing portfolio of EV charging infrastructure project s.• Develop and implement construction strategy, processes and delivery standard s.• Lead contractor procurement, tendering and commercial negotiation s.• Manage contractor performance, quality, programme and cost across multiple live project s.• Establish cost benchmarks and drive continuous improvements in delivery efficienc y.• Lead the construction function, building and mentoring a high-performing team as the business scale s.• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budge t.• Work closely with programme, design and leadership teams to support an ambitious national rollou t. What we're looking for• 7+ years' experience delivering construction projects within infrastructure, utilities, energy or civil engineeri ng.• Proven experience managing multiple contractors and complex project portfoli os.• Strong commercial understanding of tendering, procurement and contract management (JCT and/or NE C).• Excellent knowledge of CDM Regulations and construction best practi ce.• A proactive leader who takes ownership and enjoys solving complex delivery challeng es.• Experience building processes and improving construction performance at sca le. Highly desir able• EV charging infrastruct ure.• Utilities or power distribution proje cts.• HV electrical infrastruct ure.• ICP/DNO delivery experie nce.• Major infrastructure or energy construct ion.• Experience within a fast-growing or scale-up environm ent.
