We’re supporting a rapidly growing infrastructure and engineering business who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of EV charging projects across the UK. Operating as a full turnkey provider, the business delivers projects from feasibility and design through to civils, electrical installation, commissioning, and energisation. As a result, they are looking for someone who can oversee the full project lifecycle and confidently coordinate multiple workstreams across live infrastructure projects. An electrical background would be highly advantageous for this role, particularly around EV charging infrastructure, however wider construction and infrastructure project management experience will also be considered. Experience delivering DC charging hubs or large-scale EV charging infrastructure projects would be especially beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage EV charging infrastructure projects from pre-construction through to handover
  • Coordinate civils, electrical, utility, and subcontractor activities across live sites
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to client specification
  • Oversee programme management, procurement coordination, and site mobilisation
  • Manage stakeholder relationships including clients, DNOs, local authorities, contractors, and internal delivery teams
  • Monitor project risks, compliance requirements, and operational challenges throughout delivery
  • Support commissioning, energisation, and final project completion activities
  • Ensure strong communication across both office and field-based teams

What They’re Looking For:

  • Experience managing infrastructure, utilities, or EV charging projects
  • Strong understanding of project delivery within construction or electrical environments
  • Electrical knowledge or background preferred
  • Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Understanding of ICP / DNO processes and utility coordination would be beneficial
  • Experience delivering DC charging hubs or high-power charging infrastructure highly desirable
  • Strong commercial awareness and programme management capability
  • Comfortable operating within fast-paced delivery environments

This is an opportunity to join a business heavily involved in the growth of UK EV infrastructure, delivering complex projects across both AC and DC charging environments. If interested, please apply or reach out directly for a confidential discussion.
