Interv_l are working with a highly successful Solar, BESS & Wind business who are on the hunt for a Senior Authorised Person. You will be responsible for the safe operation, switching, and maintenance of high-voltage networks, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out HV switching operations up to 33kV under safety rules.
  • Issue and cancel safety documents (e.g., permits to work, isolation certificates).
  • Supervise and coordinate HV works on renewable energy sites.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure high standards of health and safety.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Liaise with grid operators, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Senior Authorised Person status up to 33kV.
  • Experience working within the renewables sector (wind, solar, or BESS preferred).
  • Strong understanding of HV/LV distribution systems and associated safety procedures.
  • Relevant electrical engineering qualification (HNC/HND or higher).
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
