Grid Connections Manager

We\’re currently partnered with a well known energy business in the UK that\’s actively scaling its project delivery team due to a growing pipeline across solar, wind, and BESS developments.

As a result, we’re supporting them in finding a Grid Connections Manager who can help shape their connection strategy as they expand across the UK.

This is a great opportunity to step into a hands on, commercially aware role where you’ll influence project viability and build strong DNO and NGESO relationships from the outset.

️ What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading on grid connection applications and assessments
• Managing technical interactions with DNOs, ICPs and NGESO
• Advising project teams on connection feasibility and risks
• Supporting due diligence and shaping early-stage design decisions

What They’re Looking For

• Strong understanding of grid connection processes and standards (G99/G100)
• Experience managing connections for solar, wind, or battery storage projects
• Ability to operate autonomously and advise on portfolio-level strategy
• A solutions-driven approach with solid stakeholder engagement skills
