Location: UK wide (base flexible; frequent site travel) | Type: Permanent
What you’ll do:
- Plan and execute pre commissioning, SAT and energisation on 33kV to 132kV assets.
- Perform relay testing/verification, CT/VT checks, scheme proving and settings validation.
- Coordinate DNO/ICP/owner witness testing; capture results and defect trackers.
- Troubleshoot issues swiftly, implement fixes, and deliver complete close-out packs.
- Feed lessons learned back into design and construction teams.
You’ll bring:
- Proven HV commissioning record on substations or grid connected renewables.
- Solid grasp of protection/controls and grid compliance testing (incl. G99).
- Meticulous, safety led approach with crisp documentation and communication.
