WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking to appoint a Programme Manager to join our Innovation and Entrepreneurship team.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As a senior member of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Team, you will ensure InterTradeIreland is appropriately positioned in the wider economic support ecosystem on the island.
- You will work directly with all business sectors, helping them to maximise collaborative innovation, entrepreneurship and/or all island clustering opportunities.
- You will strategically develop and manage collaborative innovation and/or cluster programmes that support SMEs to explore, plan and implement innovation to develop new products, services and processes.
- You will promote SME participation in collaborative network/cluster activity through actively supporting cross border collaboration at scale between clusters and networks across the island.
- You will be responsible for managing staff, budgets, organising events and stakeholder engagement activity and contracts, to deliver against InterTradeIreland’s objectives in multiple areas, including consideration of industry-academia collaboration, industry 4.0, digitalisation and sustainability.

THE IDEAL PERSON WILL HAVE:
- A degree or equivalent third level qualification.
- Minimum 3 years’ management experience in business/economic development including developing strategic initiatives or new business activities.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of proactively managing and effectively leading a team of reports, able to plan and organise work to achieve results within tight deadlines, focusing on priorities and objectives with a clear sense of direction.
- Financial management experience including budget building, forecasting and monitoring of complex annual budgets of scale.
