Reporting to the Project Manager, the candidate will oversee works on a long term Motorway and trunk road Operations and Maintenance contract, highway asset life cycle management, major maintenance and rehabilitation projects and minor additional works delivered within the capabilities of subcontract and company resources.
Principal Functions
- Ensure the on-going safety of all parties involved with the implementation of your roles and responsibilities by maintaining the highest Health & Safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with DBFO contracts for allocated asset classes, including all inspections and defect repairs for both O&M and Major Maintenance client works.
- Develop annual works/inspection programmes in conjunction with the operations teams.
- Procure repair and rehabilitation works.
- Manage works delivery.
- Plan operations using risk reduction and cost comparison methodology.
- Ensure accurate cost capture against activities to inform future forecasts & budgets.
- Maintain accreditations including ISO and National Highways Sector Schemes by ensuring excellent Quality Management.
- Identify opportunities for delivery improvements and efficiencies.
