To be considered for this position, you must hold a valid, clean UK driving license. You will also have excellent communication and customer service skills and be willing to learn about sampling and laboratory operations/standards for Petroleum products. Required Skills and Experience:
- Good IT literacy skills
- Must have a full, clean UK driving license
- Ability to gain knowledge of sampling techniques, relevant laboratory operations/standards and properties of relevant petroleum products
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service
- Motivated, self-starter
- Encourage teamwork (promote operational synergies and alignment) to support each other, and our customers and grow together
- Highly energised mindset with willingness and desire to learn and adapt individually, as well as creating an environment for people to grow
- Excellent customer service skills
Key activities:
- Carrying out sampling duties using approved techniques as directed
- Carrying out testing of required samples using approved techniques as directed
- Travelling to and from client/Intertek facilities as required and collecting/transporting samples in compliance with road traffic regulations, back to the required locations.
- Completing daily vehicle condition sheets
- Completing fleet sample collection logs
- Assist in maintaining sample retention stores in good working order
The standard working pattern for this role will be Monday to Friday 06:00 - 18:00, split between two staff on rotation, with the requirement to work overtime occasionally.
