About the Role: Quality Officer

As the Quality Officer, you will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to converse succinctly with key stakeholders, providing accurate information and progress reports consistently.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills to convey processes, results, and key messages effectively, and build rapport quickly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to network and establish relationships with stakeholders.
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple projects.
  • Ideally, a degree in BioChemistry, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Knowledge of GMP and analytical quality standards is preferable.
  • Proven experience in performing detailed experimental checks within regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in analytical science, including chromatographic methods like HPLC, GC, LC, or other pharmaceutical characterization techniques.

About the Opportunity

This role is based in a GMP-regulated laboratory providing analytical services to the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, personal care, and specialty chemical sectors. Responsibilities include reviewing deviations, OOS, change control records, performing internal audits, reviewing equipment qualifications, and checking GMP data as per procedures.

Key Activities:

  • Perform GMP and quality system checks to ensure standards are met.
  • Assist the Quality Assurance Team Leader in implementing the quality function.
  • Review analytical data, records, and operational systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support all Quality Team activities related to GMP and other quality systems.
  • Ensure raw data reflects current Good Clinical Practice standards and regulations.
  • Identify areas for improvement within quality management systems.
  • Conduct internal audits and support client and regulatory audits.
  • Review and approve equipment qualifications and QMS records such as deviations, OOS investigations, and change controls.
