QSR Food Retail Auditor β West Yorkshire
We are seeking a QSR Retail Auditor to work with global fast-food brands to ensure operations meet the highest quality standards. This role supports food safety across the UK.
About You
We are looking for someone with a background in Food Service or Retail Food who can join our global organisation as a QSR Retail Auditor on a zero-hours contract to cover the West Yorkshire region.
Required skills and experience
- Experience working in a retail, restaurant, or food factory/processing environment with auditing experience or conducting audits would be highly desirable
- Previous work experience in the Food Service industry with exposure to Food Safety is advantageous; full training can be provided by our experienced team
- Level 2, 3 or Level 4 Food Safety qualification is advantageous
- Level 2, 3 or Level 4 HACCP qualification is advantageous
- Good working knowledge of Health and Safety in a Restaurant/Food environment
- Mathematics and English GCSEs, or equivalent, are essential
- Full UK Driving licence and own car
About the opportunity
As a Food Retail Auditor, you will be part of Intertek SAI Global and will travel to client sites to conduct audits for a variety of Food and Restaurant clients, including Fast Food chains, High Street Restaurants, and Commercial Food Venues on a zero-hours contract.
Key activities
- Audit well-known brands on the UK high street against appropriate food safety, hygiene, and inter-company standards
- Conduct food safety, brand standards and workplace health and safety evaluations at client locations
- Consult, coach and train clients on the latest food safety, health, and hygiene practices
- Collaborate with account management teams to resolve client challenges
- Provide accurate reporting and maintain effective customer communication and relationships
- Due to the flexible contract nature, access to own transport is essential; the role will involve weekend and evening work
