Due to continued success, we now require QRS/Retail Auditor to work with global fast-food brands to ensure they are operating to the highest quality. This is an important role in the fight to ensure food safety throughout the UK.
ABOUT YOU
We are currently seeking someone who has a background in Food Service or Retail Food to join our global organisation as aQRS/Retail Auditor and join us on a zero-hours, to cover the Essex region.
Required skills and experience:
- Experience working in a retail, restaurant, or food factory/processing environment alongside experience of being audited, or conducting audits, would be highly desirable
- Ideally, have previous work experience in the Food Service industry, with some exposure to Food Safety, however, full training can be provided by our experienced team
- Level 2, 3 or Level 4 Food Safety qualification is advantageous
- Level 2, 3 or Level 4 HACCP qualification is advantageous
- Good working knowledge of Health and Safety in a Restaurant/Food environment
- Mathematics and English GCSEs, or equivalent, are essential
- Full UK Driving licence and own car
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As a QRS/Retail Auditor,you will be part of Intertek SAI Global business and will be travelling to client sites to conduct the audit for a variety of Food and Restaurant clients, including Fast Food chains, High Street Restaurants, and Commercial Food Venues on a zero-hours contract.
Key activities:
- Be responsible for auditing some of the most well-known names on the UK high street against the appropriate food safety, hygiene, and inter-company standards.
- Conduct food safety, brand standards and workplace health and safety evaluations at client locations
- Consult, coach and train clients on the latest food safety, health, and hygiene practices
- Work with account management teams to resolve client challenges
- Provide accurate reporting and ensure effective customer communication and relationships
- Additionally, due to the nature of the role (which will be on a flexible contract), access to own transport is essential and the role will involve both weekend and evening work.
This is a Zero-hour contract, withflexible working hours covering the Essex region.
