Job Description
We are currently seeking someone who has a background in Food Service or Retail Food to join our global organisation as a QSR Retail Auditor and join us on a zero-hours contract to cover the Northern Ireland region.
Required skills and experience:
- Experience working in a retail, restaurant, or food factory/processing environment alongside experience of being audited, or conducting audits, would be highly desirable
- Ideally, have previous work experience in the Food Service industry, with some exposure to Food Safety, however, full training can be provided by our experienced team
- Level 2, 3 or Level 4 Food Safety qualification is advantageous
- Level 2, 3 or Level 4 HACCP qualification is advantageous
- Good working knowledge of Health and Safety in a Restaurant/Food environment
- Mathematics and English GCSEs, or equivalent, are essential
- Full UK Driving licence and own car
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Food Retail Auditor, you will be part of Intertek SAI Global business and will be travelling to client sites to conduct the audit for a variety of Food and Restaurant clients, including Fast Food chains, High Street Restaurants, and Commercial Food Venues on a zero-hours contract.
Key activities:
- Be responsible for auditing some of the most well-known names on the UK high street against the appropriate food safety, hygiene, and inter-company standards.
- Conduct food safety, brand standards and workplace health and safety evaluations at client locations
- Consult, coach and train clients on the latest food safety, health, and hygiene practices
- Work with account management teams to resolve client challenges
- Provide accurate reporting and ensure effective customer communication and relationships
- Additionally, due to the nature of the role (which will be on a flexible contract), access to own transport is essential and the role will involve both weekend and evening work.
This is a Zero-hour contract, with flexible working hours covering the Northern Ireland region.
