The Opportunity:
We\'re hiring a senior NDT Inspector to support the Liverpool Bay CCS Transport and Storage Project. You will define, approve, and supervise NDT procedures, including advanced ultrasonic techniques like AUT, PAUT, and TOFD. Your expertise will ensure compliance with international codes and support safe, high-quality asset delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and approve NDT procedures for project-wide use
• Review and validate NDT documentation and inspection results
• Supervise NDT activities at supplier sites, fabrication yards, and offshore/onshore locations
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and client representatives on control plans and inspection strategies
• Evaluate complex inspection outcomes and provide expert guidance
• Monitor NDT personnel qualifications and testing equipment
• Ensure correct NDT on a range of materials including carbon steels, stainless steels, nickel alloys, and Cr-Mo steels
• Oversee advanced ultrasonic testing methods (AUT, PAUT, TOFD)
• Issue technical reports, NCRs, and contribute to QA documentation for handover
Who We\'re Looking For:
• Senior NDT experience with pipelines, pressure vessels, tanks, and offshore/onshore structures
• Deep knowledge of metallurgy and weld integrity for CS, SS, Ni alloys, Cr-Mo, DSS/SDSS
• ISO 9712 Level 3 certification in VT, PT, UT, MT, RT
• Proven expertise in AUT, PAUT, and TOFD procedure validation and implementation
• Familiarity with ASME, ISO, API, ASTM codes and standards
• Skilled in NDT documentation, control plans, and procedure approvals
• Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
• Fluent in English; additional languages beneficial
