Senior Analyst - Bioanalytical LC-MS/MSManchesterGiven our continued success, we are actively seeking a Senior Analyst to join our growing Bioanalytical LC-MS/MS team in Manchester.This is an exciting opportunity to apply your quantitative LC-MS/MS experience within a GLP, GCP and GMP-accredited laboratory. You'll prepare, run and process clinical and non-clinical samples while supporting long-term pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical client programmes.If you're an experienced LC-MS/MS analyst who values quality, teamwork and continued development, we'd love to hear from you.ABOUT YOUThe position requires a practical and quality-focused Senior Analyst with hands-on quantitative LC-MS/MS experience and the confidence to work with clinical samples in a regulated laboratory.You'll have approximately two to three years of relevant industry experience and be comfortable preparing, running and processing samples. Bioanalytical and pharmacokinetic experience is highly desirable, although strong quantitative LC-MS/MS experience is the essential requirement.You'll join a close-knit team where colleagues work collaboratively, support one another and share their knowledge. You'll receive structured training in our processes, instruments and software before progressing to independent and more complex work.Required skills and experience:BSc, MSc or PhD in Biology, Chemistry or a related scientific disciplineAt least two years of hands-on quantitative LC-MS/MS experience within an industry laboratoryExperience preparing, running and processing samples and interpreting quantitative LC-MS/MS dataExperience in, or a strong understanding of, a GxP-regulated laboratory environment and GLP, GCP or GMP principlesGood practical laboratory and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detailGood numeracy and IT skills, with the ability to calculate, tabulate and clearly report analytical resultsClear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamworkBioanalytical or quantitative pharmacokinetic analysis experience would be highly advantageousMethod development and validation experience, ideally following ICH M10 guidance, would be beneficialABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYAs a Senior Analyst, you'll perform quantitative LC-MS/MS analysis supporting pharmaceutical and bioanalytical studies. You'll work with clinical and non-clinical samples and may analyse small and large molecules such as pharmaceuticals, proteins, peptides, lipids and oligonucleotides.Your first few weeks will involve structured training and shadowing while you become familiar with our laboratory systems and quality processes. You'll receive support on our instruments and software, including relevant supplier training modules, before beginning with batch analysis and moving into more complex work as your confidence grows.This role combines the security of established methods with the opportunity to develop broader technical capability.
