Overview

In this onsite laboratory role you apply LCMS/MS to quantitative pharmacokinetic analyses within a GLP/GCP/GMP-regulated setting. You contribute to method development and validation according to ICH M10, handle diverse sample matrices, and generate clear, regulatory-ready reports. You will work with cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and support business development through technical excellence. Responsibilities

  • Perform LC-MS/MS analyses for pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals in biological matrices
  • Develop and validate quantitative LC-MS/MS PK methods per ICH M10
  • Extract analytes from serum, plasma, urine and related matrices
  • Work in GLP/GCP/GMP laboratory to deliver compliant analytical data
  • Train, supervise and coordinate junior scientists
  • Generate and interpret data, prepare technical reports or COAs
  • Communicate with clients to establish requirements and report outcomes
  • Support quotes and business development in the technical area
  • Ensure study quality and regulatory fitness for purpose
  • Learn and apply new laboratory techniques as needed

Key requirements

  • BSc/MSc/PhD in Biology or Chemistry (or related discipline)
  • In-depth LCMS/MS knowledge with PK analysis experience
  • GxP laboratory experience with GLP/GCP/GMP understanding
  • Specialist method development and validation experience (ICH M10) for LCMS/MS PK
  • Practical knowledge of extraction techniques for small/large molecules from biological matrices
  • Experience training and mentoring junior staff
  • Strong numeracy and data interpretation abilities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; client-facing ability
  • Good IT literacy and time management; ability to handle multiple projects
