Intertek is looking for a HSE Manager to be involved in an International Project.

Responsibilities:

  • Study the safety documentation provided by the Client (e.g., Safety and Coordination Plan or similar) and the legal requirements applicable in the country where the site is located.
  • Study and keep updated all Safety site’s specific documentation.
  • Integrate, when necessary, the procedures included in the Health and Safety Management System with the requirements established by applicable safety regulations according to local or client law.
  • Prepare and keep the emergency and evacuation plan updated based on actual site conditions.
  • Cooperate in the purchase and ensure availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for site personnel and visitors throughout the entire site duration.
  • Organize safety training and orientation sessions related to specific and updated site risks, safety measures, and procedures to be adopted by personnel assigned to the site.
  • Ensure that only personnel with fully compliant and approved safety documentation (in agreement with HSE Teams, SM, and Management System) are allowed to be present on site.
  • Ensure that only vehicles and equipment with complete and approved safety documentation (in agreement with HSE Teams, SM, and Management System) are authorized to access and operate within the site.
  • Assist the Site Manager in verifying documentation and obtaining authorizations for subcontractors.
