Industrial Sales Business Manager

As the Industrial Sales Business Manager, you will be a driven new business sales professional. This role requires a hunter mindset, motivated and collaborative, with a technical bias. The Strategic Business Manager will support clients throughout the sales cycle, from proof of concept to product certification.

Required skills and experience:

  • Five years’ experience in a B2B sales environment, ideally selling similar products or solutions, with successful on-target performance.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and understand sales forecasting, pipeline management, conversion rates, and sales planning.
  • Self-motivated with a positive \’can-do\’ attitude.
  • Good IT skills, including CRM experience.
  • Engineering sales background in complex machinery.

About the Opportunity

We seek an experienced Industrial Sales Business Manager to generate leads, identify opportunities, meet clients, and close deals for Assurance, Testing, and Certification across various industries.

Key Activities:

  • Meetings with current and new clients via face-to-face and Teams.
  • Lead management, opportunity generation, and pipeline maintenance.
  • Deliver high customer service and build strong client relationships.
  • Close deals and meet sales targets.
  • Update CRM system.
  • Collaborate across Intertek to generate leads.
  • Identify market trends and expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain organized sales activities and understand sales metrics.
  • Understand customer needs and the marketplace.
  • Engage in high-activity B2B selling, including remote and physical meetings.
