We are seeking an experienced laboratory professional with a background in a UKAS-accredited environment, confident in hands-on analytical work and data reporting. You have a positive, flexible approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to support and guide junior colleagues while maintaining high QHSE standards.
Required skills and experience:
- Degree/Higher National Certificate or at least 3 years' experience working in a UKAS accredited laboratory.
- Highly proficient in computer programs such as MS Office and data entry/recording.
- Willing to be 'hands on' working at all levels.
- A positive attitude, the ability to develop and initiate new procedures, working to tight deadlines and the ability for working and communicating to diverse personalities.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
About the opportunity:
This role offers the chance to join a successful Aberdeen laboratory team, supporting daily operations, analytical testing, and reporting. You will work closely with the Supervisor, act as an authorised signatory where appropriate, mentor junior staff, and contribute to quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
