We are currently seeking someone who has a background in Food Service or Retail Food to join our global organisation as a QRS/Retail Auditor on a zero-hours contract to cover the London area.

Experience working in a retail, restaurant, or food factory/processing environment alongside experience of being audited, or conducting audits, would be highly desirable.

Ideally, candidates should have previous work experience in the Food Service industry, with some exposure to Food Safety; however, full training can be provided by our experienced team.

  • Level 2, 3 or Level 4 Food Safety qualification is advantageous.
  • Level 2, 3 or Level 4 HACCP qualification is advantageous.
  • Good working knowledge of Health and Safety in a Restaurant/Food environment.
  • Mathematics and English GCSEs, or equivalent, are essential.
  • Full UK Driving licence and own car.

As a QRS/Retail Auditor, you will be part of Intertek SAI Global's business and will be travelling to client sites to conduct audits for a variety of Food and Restaurant clients, including Fast Food chains, High Street Restaurants, and Commercial Food Venues.

You will be responsible for auditing some of the most well-known names on the UK high street against the appropriate food safety, hygiene, and inter-company standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting food safety, brand standards and workplace health and safety evaluations at client locations.
  • Consulting, coaching and training clients on the latest food safety, health, and hygiene practices.
  • Working with account management teams to resolve client challenges.

Due to the nature of the role (which will be on a flexible contract), access to own transport is essential and the role will involve both weekend and evening work.

This is a zero-hour contract, with flexible working hours.
