ABOUT YOU:
You are a highly experienced Coating Inspector with recognised certification (AMPP/NACE or Frosio Level 2) and strong knowledge of industry standards, inspection techniques, and QA/QC processes. With a solid background in oil & gas and naval projects, you bring technical expertise, a proactive approach, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and ethical working practices.
Required skills and experience:
Relevant technical certification or trade qualification
Experience in industrial coating applications and inspections
Knowledge of applicable standards such as:
SSPC / AMPP
NACE
ISO
ASTM
Coating inspection certification preferred (e.g., AMPP/NACE Coating Inspector)
Certified NACE level II or as alternative: NS/476/Frosio Level 2
Minimum 10 years of experience in the O&G industry
Minimum 6 years of experience in Coating, Naval Industry as Coating Inspector.
IT: Good knowledge of MS Office Package
Facilities: Excellent knowledge of welding and NDT techniques, basic knowledge of metallurgy and welding engineering principles, good knowledge of pressure vessel/piping inspection and certification requirements (PED etc)
Quality: Good knowledge of QA/QC Welding Management Systems
HSE: Basic knowledge of construction and commissioning HSE requirement and standards implementation.
Radioprotection: Basic knowledge of radioprotection principles and main requirements.
Flexible and proactive individual with excellent communication skills and problem solving
High ethical standard for own and team members' work
