This is an excellent opportunity for someone with industry experience who is ready to take greater ownership of analytical work.

Working within an experienced team, you'll perform laboratory testing, interpret data and contribute to investigations, method activities and client projects across the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone with practical experience who can work accurately and apply scientific judgement and contribute positively within a collaborative team.

  • A degree (BSc or MSc) in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biology or another relevant scientific discipline
  • Industry experience within an analytical or scientific laboratory
  • Hands-on experience of relevant analytical techniques
  • Experience of GMP, GLP or equivalent quality standards in a regulated environment
  • The ability to interpret data and communicate scientific findings clearly
  • A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity
  • The ability to plan and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Confidence working independently and collaborating with project teams
  • Excellent communication and IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Experience of method development, validation or transfer, laboratory investigations or laboratory data systems would be advantageous.

As a Scientist, you'll take responsibility for preparing and analysing samples using a range of analytical techniques. You'll deliver accurate results, interpret scientific data and contribute to investigations and technical problem-solving, ensuring work is completed safely and in line with quality requirements. You'll broaden your technical expertise, contribute to varied client projects and progress your career within one of the world's leading testing, inspection and certification companies.

  • Preparing and analysing samples using relevant analytical techniques
  • Following validated methods, SOPs and data integrity requirements
  • Recording, interpreting, reviewing and reporting analytical data
  • Contributing to investigations, troubleshooting and technical problem-solving
  • Supporting method development, validation and transfer activities
  • Maintaining equipment and a safe, organised and compliant laboratory
  • Working with project teams to deliver high-quality results on time
  • Sharing technical knowledge and supporting less-experienced colleagues
