We are seeking an Analyst Grade 2 to join our team in this role. You will work alongside the Team Leader/Supervisor, Senior Analyst and Analyst Grade 1 to ensure dayâtoâday priorities are met. You will carry out analytical tasks, equipment calibrations and prepare job reporting requirements. Acting as a role model you will mentor junior team members and ensure compliance with QHSE processes.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience working in a UKASâaccredited laboratory or hold a relevant degree/HNC. You are highly proficient in MS Office, detailâoriented, thrive in a fastâpaced environment and possess a positive attitude, flexibility and strong communication skills. You are handsâon, adaptable and motivated to support both technical and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily analytical activities in line with technical standards and client requirements
- Mentor and support junior staff in routine and new analytical techniques
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain calibration standards
- Represent Intertek externally with professionalism
- Support new projects, method development and validation work
- Ensure compliance with QHSE standards (ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001)
- Promote Intertek values and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills and Experience
- Degree/HNC or equivalent experience in a UKASâaccredited laboratory
- Strong IT skills (MS Office, data entry)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Ability to work collaboratively and mentor others
