Intertek is looking for a Quality Control Coordinator for a major two years project in Liverpool Bay. The selected profile will assure quality in all facilities execution activities, verifying they all meet the required quality standards, coordinating all the quality control related activities, auditing vendors and contractors and coordinating with third party authorities for quality validation/certification.
Responsibilities
- To verify that the requirements of the Project Quality Plan are satisfied by project/facilities execution activities, making sure project technical integrity is met.
- Develop a Project/Package Quality Control System.
- Conduct Management Reviews to implement and continuously improve the Project/Package Quality Control System.
- Ensure a proper reporting on Quality Control data.
- Provide support for the adequate and continuous assessments of the Quality capabilities and performances of contractors (Engineers and Inspectors) within Construction Sites and workshops.
- Develop QC procedures and forms required for inspection, release and non-conformance management.
- Ensure availability of and adequate number of resources and with adequate skills.
- Verify that all Quality Control verifications are performed in accordance with the approved Inspection and Test Plans.
- Review and approve Contractors and Vendors quality plan, relevant quality control plans and procedures making sure they are in compliance with Company requirements.
- Participate to Vendor Pre-Production meeting.
- Carrying out technical audits to Vendors and Contractors.
- Dealing with third party validation and certification authorities.
- Manage and administer contracts for provision of Quality Control Services.
- Provide reports as required to management on QC related matters and advise on any critical issues arising relating to QC.
- To establish and assign to the project all resources for executing QC activities.
Requirements
- Engineering Degree (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent) or Technical Diploma.
- At least 7 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience.
- At least 5 years of quality assurance and control experience or equivalent.
- Professionally qualified quality system certifier (preferred).
- Accreditation in QA/QC Codes and Standards (cswip, asme, aws nace, iso..).
