We’re looking for someone with solid civil engineering expertise and experience in quality management within Oil & Gas or similar engineering environments. You’ll be analytical, organised, and confident managing QA/QC processes in complex projects.
Essential requirements
- Extensive experience in Oil & Gas or a comparable engineering environment
- Proven experience in quality assurance and quality control
- Engineering degree (Civil strongly preferred) or relevant technical diploma
- Strong understanding of QA/QC codes and standards (e.g., ACI, CSWIP, ISO, ASME, AWS)
- Experience developing QC procedures, conducting inspections, and managing audits
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Professional QA/QC certification and experience liaising with regulatory bodies and third-party certification authorities (Desirable)
About the opportunity
In this role, you’ll coordinate and supervise civil quality control activities in line with project quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and safety standards. You’ll also help identify and resolve quality issues, maintain compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement across operations.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise civil QC activities on-site and at workshops
- Develop inspection procedures and non-conformance management processes
- Review contractor and vendor documentation for compliance
- Conduct technical audits and liaise with external validation authorities
- Support resource planning for inspections and quality activities
- Prepare quality performance reports and escalate key risks
- Participate in project quality and safety meetings
